Black Ridge Detail Co. ("we," "us," or "our") operates blackridgedetail.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

When you book a service, request a quote, or contact us, we may collect:

• Service address (where we perform the detail)
• Vehicle make, model, and condition details
• Payment information (processed securely through Stripe — we never store card numbers)
• Communications between you and us (texts, emails, form submissions)

How We Use Your Information

• To confirm, schedule, and fulfill your detailing appointment
• To process payments and send receipts
• To send appointment reminders and follow-up messages
• To respond to questions or support requests
• To improve our services based on your feedback

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store, see, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or billing address. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With Stripe to process payments
• With our scheduling platform (GoHighLevel / GHL) to manage appointments
• If required by law or legal process

Text Message Communications

By providing your phone number and booking a service, you consent to receive text messages from Black Ridge Detail Co. related to your appointment (confirmation, reminders, follow-up). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Data Retention

We retain your information as long as needed to provide services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at gavin@blackridgedetailing.com.

Your Rights

Cookies

Our website may use basic cookies to support functionality. We do not use tracking cookies or run ad retargeting.

Terms of Service

By booking a service with Black Ridge Detail Co. or using this website, you agree to the following terms.

Services

Black Ridge Detail Co. provides mobile auto detailing services in the Waxahachie, Hillsboro, and surrounding Ellis and Hill County, TX areas. We come to your location — home, workplace, or other agreed-upon address.

Booking & Scheduling

• All bookings require a valid phone number and email address.
• A $25 deposit is required to lock in your appointment date. The deposit is applied to your total at completion.
• We will confirm your appointment via text within 15 minutes of booking. If you do not receive confirmation, contact us at (254) 659-0141.
• For jobs $300 or more, a 50% deposit is required to reserve the time slot.

Your Responsibilities

• The vehicle must be accessible and available for the full estimated service time.
• Remove all personal belongings, valuables, and important documents from the vehicle before your appointment. Black Ridge Detail Co. is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.
• Disclose any known pre-existing damage, sensitivities, or special conditions on your vehicle before service begins.
• A water source and access to power (standard 110V outlet) must be available at the service location unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Pre-Existing Damage

We document vehicle condition with photos before every service. Black Ridge Detail Co. is not liable for pre-existing scratches, swirl marks, chips, stains, odors, or other damage that existed prior to our arrival. Our photos will be made available upon request.

Results & Limitations

We make every effort to deliver professional results. However, some stains, odors, scratches, or paint defects may be permanent and cannot be fully corrected through detailing alone. We will communicate any limitations before beginning work.

Membership Plans

Membership plans are billed automatically on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy below for full cancellation terms.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe conditions, excessive biohazards, or inappropriate conduct. In such cases, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be handled in Hill County or Ellis County, TX.

Before escalating any dispute, please contact us directly at gavin@blackridgedetailing.com or (254) 659-0141. We will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Booking Deposit — $25

• The $25 deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel your appointment or are unable to perform the service.
• If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment and we will apply the deposit to your rescheduled date at no charge.
• Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your appointment forfeit the deposit.

One-Time Services

• Payment for one-time services is collected after you inspect and approve the work. Once you have approved the completed detail, no refunds will be issued.
• If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, notify us within 48 hours of completion. We will schedule a complimentary touch-up at no charge.
• Refund requests after the 48-hour window will not be honored.

Membership Plans — Monthly

• Cancel any time by texting (254) 659-0141 or emailing gavin@blackridgedetailing.com.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again.
• No partial refunds for the current billing period.
• Membership benefits remain active through the end of the paid period.

Membership Plans — Annual

• Annual plans may be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund if no services have been used.
• After 7 days, or after the first service has been redeemed, annual plans are non-refundable but will remain active through the end of the paid year.
• To cancel an annual plan within the 7-day window, contact us at gavin@blackridgedetailing.com.

Large Job Deposits (50%)

• For jobs $300 or more, a 50% deposit is required upfront.
• This deposit is refundable if cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment forfeit the 50% deposit.

We Cancel or Can't Make It

If Black Ridge Detail Co. cancels or cannot fulfill a scheduled appointment for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any deposit paid, plus priority rescheduling at no extra charge.

How to Request a Refund

Contact us at gavin@blackridgedetailing.com or text (254) 659-0141. Include your name, date of service, and reason. Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days through Stripe back to your original payment method.
